The acknowledgment, which is determined based on the Mortgage Employer Company Score (MECS), takes criteria such as compensation, speed, marketing support, technology, corporate culture, long-term strategy, day-today management, internal communications, training, industry participation and innovation into consideration. This criteria was ranked by employees and then weighed by personal importance. The National Mortgage Magazine said, “Our readers told us that a factor like corporate culture was considerably more important to them than the speed of the company.”
The National Mortgage Professional Magazine (NMP) is a “source for top originators” which connects the mortgage professional’s community nationwide. In addition to a print edition of the magazine, there are 38 state specific electronic editions, and the NMP daily report and newsletter. Their main goal is to keep the mortgage community informed and engaged in any changes in the industry.
